How to reach the event

Bertinoro is situated halfway between the cities of Forlì and Cesena, 6 km away from SS9 (Via Emilia). Forlimpopoli is the town of reference for transport to and from Bertinoro.

From Bologna airport:
The closest airport to the University Center of Bertinoro is Bologna Marconi (BLQ), about 80 km away.
The public shuttle service Aerobus connects the airport to the Bologna city center and the main railway station (Stazione Centrale di Bologna). A one-way ride from costs €6 and it runs every 11 minutes every day of the year.

From Bologna railway station:
There is a train every 20 min connecting Bologna to Forlì on the Bologna- Rimini route. YOU SHOULD BE MINDFUL TO GET OFF in Forlì and not in Forlimpopoli, as taxis to Bertinoro may not be available in Forlimpopoli.

To reach the Bertinoro University Center (CEUB):
A taxi service (recommended) should be availa ble in front of the Forli' train station. Fare is ~30 if you quote CEUB.
Alternatively please call a taxi (phone: +39 0543 31111 from Forlì, +39 0547 610710 from Cesena).

Organized transfer of participants:
We are planning guided group travels by train/taxi or a private coach from Bologna station (or if necessary the airport), on Sunday 19th May, at two different times (midday-early afternoon). More information will be available closer to the time.


By car:
For those arriving by car from Bologna: take Forlì exit on A-14 highway and follow signals for Cesena-Forlimpopoli-Bertinoro.
For those arriving from Rimini: take Cesena “Nord” (North) exit on A-14 highway and then follow E45 street to Rome until Cesena “Ovest” (West) exit. Turn right on SS9 (Via Emilia), direction Forlì-Bologna. Follow signals for Bertinoro.
