Bertinoro

The medieval citadel of Bertinoro is rich in towers and cobbled streets up on a hill with magnificent views towards the sea. The village is well-known for its wines and gastronomy. It is well connected to Bologna (90 Km) and the famous University, but  far from city diversions.

Bologna

The historical town of Bologna is capital of the Emilia-Romagna region, in northern Italy. It is a buzzling town dominated by students' lives, good food and amazing medioeval buildings. Bologna has a rich cultural agenda with its famous University and its 40 km long Porticoes (recognised as an UNESCO World Heritage site). A day in Bologna is highly recommended.

Acccommodation in Bologna
Bologna has plenty of hotels and B&B to suit all demands, however at times it is hard to find a place to stay there at a resonable rate. We do not foresee major disruptions at the time of the Workshop, however an early boooking is always recommended.

Conference attendees who wish to stay at the
residence-musem Resart https://www.resartbologna.it/
a modern building close to the historical centre, the night before (18th May) or the night after the conference (23rd May) may be able to reserve single or double rooms at a slightly discouted rate if they quote the Organiser.
